Living With Purpose (LWP)

LWP is an Apache Behavioral Health Services (ABHS) community wellness center that provides supported educated and employment programs that consist of three teams: Peer Support Specialist, Work Team, and Vocational Education and Training .


Peer Support Specialist (PPS)- are role models and mentors,offering their own life’s journeys and living proof of the transformative power of recovery PPS provide education ,couching, and sober companionship to individuals in recovery of substance abuse and/or with a mental health diagnosis. PSS also assist in community events. Contact LWP if you are interested in PSS providing a presentation at your organization.


Work Team - is to promote employment and self-suffciency by providing structured work skills training and assignments. The Work Team participants work on community projects, community services, (especially for the elder and disable) , and services for ABHS, the Work Team has been very helpful in the community  assisting in preparing for Wakes, cleaning yards of the elderly, and keeping the reservation beautiful with community clean up projects. Vocational Educational and Training Team-consist of GED classes, work readiness skills, computer literacy, customer service training

and entrepreneur training. This Team will also collaborate with businesses to provide job opportunities for LWP participants
